Catechism series - Seven Sacraments

There are many things we need to know as Catholics. One of them are the seven Sacraments.
The Catholic Church has been entrusted with seven Sacraments by Christ. They are efficacious signs of grace that are preceptible to the senses. They are efficacious because it is Christ who works through them. They are perceptible because we can see, feel or smell them.

What are the seven Sacraments?

1. Baptism
2. Eucharist
3. Reconciliation
4. Confirmation
5. Marriage
6. Holy Orders
7. Annointing of the Sick

The Sacraments may be categorized as such:

Sacraments of Initiation

1. Baptism
2. Eucharist
3. Confirmation

Sacraments of Healing

1. Reconciliation
2. Annointing of the sick

Sacraments of Christian Vocation

1. Marriage
2. Holy Orders
