And I'm going to say it

So I went to the 'East' for my Sunday obligation today and received affirmation from Father's sermon: No one truly understands what a Sacrament is anymore these days. Well, that's coming from me, not the priest. The sermon was actually regarding spiritual blindness. How many married couples, Catholic married couples for that matter, who actually understand what marriage means? It all stems out how we live out our lives and how we see the world. We need to see the world the way God sees. In order to achieve this, you'd need to learn how to see things sacramentally and liturgically.

It's not always about us. Keep in mind the Lord's prayer: Thy will be done... not your's or mine, His. Thy will be done on earth... how? ...as it is in heaven. As a people set apart, we should bring heaven on earth. Our surrounding should imitate heaven. This is why a church has icons or statues (depending on what Rite you're from).

Going back to our marriage example, God put this desire in our hearts because He created us in His image and likeness. To truly understand what marriage is, we need to look to God because God is family. He is not LIKE a family but IS family. Father, Son and Holy Spirit is a family.

And so I have posted again in my blog after such a long time of no posts.
